Contact Information Policy

eFlea members are required to provide accurate contact information such as their name, address, and telephone number when registering and participating on eFlea sites. Members are not allowed to use a fax, disconnected or false number as a telephone number.

Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don't, you may be subject to a range of actions, including restrictions of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

What are the guidelines?
Allowed
  • Providing your correct name, address, and telephone number
  • Keeping your contact information up-to-date. You can update your personal information in My Account.
Not allowed
  • Falsifying or omitting contact information such as a name, address, or telephone number
  • Using a "throw-away" or temporary email address
  • Using a fax number as a telephone number
  • Using a disconnected telephone number
  • Using a false telephone number
  • Using someone else's telephone number without prior consent

Buyers and sellers must be able to communicate with each other. If you provide incorrect or false contact information, it makes it difficult for the buyer or seller to get in touch with each other. This makes it more likely that you'll have problems like unpaid items, or not receiving your items.

Even if you are not the highest bidder on an item when bidding closes, you may still become the winning bidder of that item. It is important that your contact info be accurate. Please refer to the Information on the bidding process document.
